Vitrified Tiles – The number one choice for floor is Vitrified tiles.   Vitrified tiles are non porous and are more durable, therefore they can withstand pressure and heavy traffic. Vitrified tiles can be used indoors as well as outdoors. They are water resistant and hence are used for outdoors too.

 

Ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles – are primarily used for walls.  They are  stain resistant and  easy to clean. Ceramic tiles are made from sand, clay and water. Porcelain tiles are made from a denser clay and hence are more durable and better suited for high traffic area than ceramic tiles.

 

Anti skid tiles – are used for bathroom floors to avoid skids. Similarly anti skid vitrified tiles are used for outdoor areas like gardens  and wet areas such as swimming pool areas  to avoid slips and skids, and vitrified tiles give them heavy duty as well.

 

Quartz tiles – are made up of composite material with a combination of quartz and sand. Quartz tiles need lowest maintenance as they are made out of non porous materials. Quartz tiles look beautiful, are easy to maintain, germ and bacteria resistant and are also available in large sizes. These qualities make them perfect for kitchen and bathroom counter tops.

 

Glass Mosaic Tiles – Mosaic tiles are made out of a combination of materials like glass and ceramic They are usually small in size, set on bigger sheets for easy installation. Glass mosaic tiles are popular for their beauty and are resistant to chemical damage as they aren’t porous. Due to their non porous quality they are used in wet areas like kitchen walls, bathrooms and as pool tiles. They have a great design flexibility and have a natural and ecological beauty.

Stone tiles – Stone tiles are available in a number of textures, colours, patterns and physical properties. Renovating with stone tiles is easy  and unlike other options, they age beautifully. Stone tiles are used for facade, hallways and front elevation. Due to their radiant heating property stone tiles are also used near walls of a fire place.
